About The Position

This role involves performing routine manufacturing tasks such as fabrication and testing, following instructions closely, and accurately documenting work. The technician will work under close supervision, receiving guidance from more senior roles. Responsibilities include basic material handling, performing mold setups with standard tools and procedures under supervision, and demonstrating familiarity with various molding processes. The role also requires a basic understanding of part measurement tools, quality inspection techniques, and the ability to interpret basic blueprints. The technician will learn to identify and report common molding defects, demonstrating basic communication skills, active listening, and reliability. A strong understanding of product quality and customer satisfaction is essential.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Entry Level and willingness to learn.

Nice To Haves

• Certification or associate's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine tasks (e.g., fabrication, testing).
• Follows instructions closely.

• Basic knowledge of material handling and auxiliary equipment (e.g., dryers, conveyors, chillers).
• Performs mold setup using standard tools and procedures under supervision.
• Familiarity with different molding processes (e.g., injection, compression, blow, thermoforming).
• Basic understanding of part measurement tools and quality inspection techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and part drawings.
• Learning to identify and report common molding defects.
• Demonstrates basic communication skills; listens actively and follows instructions.
• Shows initiative in learning and completing assigned tasks reliably.
• Understands the importance of product quality and customer satisfaction.
