About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring safety, adhering to production schedules, achieving daily production goals, and maintaining a low scrap rate. The position also requires maintaining workplace organization according to 5S standards and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to perform simple math calculations.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work up to 6 days per week if required.
• Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts and swing shifts.
• Strong commitment to safety
• Reliability and punctuality to meet production schedules.
• Attention to detail to maintain quality and minimize scrap.
• Ability to stay organized and maintain a clean workspace.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of yourself and your team members.
• Adhere to the production schedule by being at your assigned machine(s) at the start of your shift.
• Achieve daily production goals for rubber/phenolic goods.
• Maintain a low scrap rate during production.
• Maintain workplace organization in accordance with 5S standards.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
