About The Position

We are looking for a Shift Supervisor to join our team. This role is responsible for managing shift operations, including organizing, planning, and scheduling work, as well as directing, instructing, and training employees on proper methods and procedures. The supervisor will also manage floor and production support staff, address quality and production issues in real-time, and ensure safety guidelines are followed.

Requirements

• Candidate should be willing to attend needed trainings.

Nice To Haves

• Previous plastic injection molding experience: 3-5 years
• Previous supervisory experience: 1-3 years

Responsibilities

• Manage shift operations including organizing, planning, and scheduling work along with directing and instructing and training employees on proper methods and procedures.
• Complete operator assignment sheet, along with machine start up list & tool change list prior to beginning of each for distribution.
• Manage floor & production support staff throughout the shift making regular checks & ensuring any quality or production issues are being addressed in real time. Ensure that the necessary supervisor & mold change checklists are completed.
• Assist in managing housekeeping & ensuring all safety guidelines are followed.
• Work with shift support team to approach & solve issues in a structured manner for proper root cause analysis.
• Clearly communicate information from management and/or HR to shift employees as needed.
• Complete performance reviews for employees annually.
• Document warnings and/or issues as needed.
