About The Position

The Mold Set-Up Technician supports medical production operations in Maumelle, Arkansas. This hands-on role sets up and supports production jobs and equipment, helping maintain quality, safety, and efficiency. The technician works with molding machines and related automation, follows documented procedures, supports troubleshooting, and coordinates with production teams and technicians across shifts.

The role offers several shift options: A and B shifts follow a 2-2-3 rotation from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; E shift works Sunday through Tuesday and every other Saturday from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.; F shift works Wednesday through Friday and every other Saturday from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Requirements

• Experience working with or operating injection molding machines in a manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with injection molding set-ups, mold changes, process troubleshooting, and/or liquid silicone molding.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with SAP.
• Experience creating work instructions for set-ups and insert changes.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start up, and change over production jobs, ensuring processes meet control capabilities and quoted standards, including robotics, part pickers, and vision systems.
• Operate and maintain molding machines, lift trucks, overhead cranes, and power mold carts.
• Follow documented procedures and use databases to perform set-ups and troubleshooting.
• Support troubleshooting and adjustments to molding processes to maintain quality, safety, and productivity within validated process windows and established guidelines.
• Communicate key information to fellow Mold Technicians across shifts.
• Partner with the production team to achieve production goals and drive continuous improvement.
