About The Position

Join our team as a Maintenance Technician and help keep our operations running smoothly. This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys solving mechanical problems, working independently, and taking pride in maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.

Requirements

  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Have mechanical aptitude.
  • Accept responsibility for work performed.
  • Dependable and motivated with a good work history.
  • Able to participate in an apprenticeship program.
  • Able to read blue prints and schematics.
  • Good reading comprehension and math skills.
  • Must provide own tools.

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties with minimum supervision.
  • Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance.
  • Assist employees in all departments and facilities in solving maintenance problems.
  • Keep shop area and molding machines neat and orderly.
  • Willingness to get training to progress in maintenance field.
  • Obtain parts in times of emergency.
  • Take control of machine when a situation arises that has the potential for personal injury or rapid deterioration of the machine.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
