This role is for a Maintenance Technician in injection molding, working nights. The position involves providing leadership assistance in training and development of facilities personnel, directing and overseeing major maintenance activities, and planning and coordinating annual shutdown machine repairs and updates. The technician will oversee work order activities, maintain calibration of injection molding machines, and stay informed about updated equipment controls and maintenance requirements. They will also work with Scheduling to obtain equipment for Preventive Maintenance (PMs), and be responsible for repairing, rebuilding, or overhauling all plant equipment. This includes servicing plant equipment by reading and interpreting blueprints, understanding and servicing robotics, and initiating and implementing cost-effective ideas for continual improvement and safety initiatives. The role requires interfacing with production supervisors and engineers to solve production problems, maintaining professional relationships with all Mack personnel, upholding Mack's standard of housekeeping, and communicating with vendors and contractors regarding needs and quotes.
