About The Position

This position is an hourly position. The Injection Molding Technician will effectively manage the set up, processing and run of up to 5 injection machines. Responsibilities include managing mold changes according to the kanban system, setting dies for required runs, and troubleshooting injection machine and mold issues. Daily operations involve the use of injection mold machines, mold changing equipment, and operating an overhead crane. Troubleshooting of all molding equipment is also a key part of this role. The qualified candidate must have the ability to make quick, precise, and effective decisions while always focusing on safety and quality. The candidate must also be able to learn quickly and adapt well to changes.

Requirements

• Ability to make quick, precise and effective decisions while always focusing on safety and quality.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt well to changes.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years previous injection mold experience (machines and robots).
• Manufacturing experience.
• Experience with problem solving.

Responsibilities
