About The Position

Connectronics Corp., a U.S. manufacturer of specialized electronic connectors and cable assemblies, is hiring a Molder in Toledo, Ohio. The role produces molded parts, checks parts for defects, and supplies the required quantities for kits. The position involves setting up and operating molding equipment, removing excess material, and producing components on schedule. Requirements

Responsibilities

• Read work orders to determine required parts, product specifications, and material requirements.
• Position the assembled mold on the molding machine press bed and align the die with the matrix.
• Set machine controls for forming pressure and plastic curing time.
• Run the machine to produce samples, inspect samples for defects, and adjust the machine setup to eliminate defects.
• Examine all produced parts to ensure they are free of defects.
• Remove or trim excess material from products using knives or scrapers.
• Produce molded components in a timely manner to meet production schedules.
• Perform other job functions as required.
