The Molder plays a critical role in producing both standard and custom components by applying materials and executing molding processes with precision and consistency. This role directly supports manufacturing quality and production efficiency by ensuring materials are properly applied, molds are prepared correctly, and finished products meet established standards. This is a 3rd-shift position with a work schedule of Friday to Sunday from 5:00 am to 5:30 pm. The hourly pay rate for this role is $22.33.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated capability in production and quality-focused manufacturing environments
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
  • Willingness and ability to learn new tools, equipment, and materials used in above-ground and underground storage tank manufacturing and assembly processes
  • Solid mathematical skills relevant to measurement and production tasks

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a Lean manufacturing environment or applying Lean principles is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Apply materials manually and/or using machines in accordance with established procedures to produce both standard and nonstandard components and products
  • Prepare molds or tool surfaces using release films, wax, and other release agents to ensure proper part formation
  • Work with resin, glass, catalysts, mold releases, and related materials, making adjustments as needed to accommodate changing environmental conditions
  • Trim molded parts to required dimensions using process sheets, drawings, standards, and verbal instructions
  • Inspect laminate surfaces to detect defects, imperfections, contamination, or non-conformance, and take corrective action where required
  • Perform additional molding-related tasks and activities as needed to support production
