Requirements

Basic educational level background normally acquired through the completion of high school level programs leading to a diploma or equivalent preferred.
Must have basic knowledge and understanding of lock out/tag out (LOTO).
Successfully complete interactive training modules
Demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of Molder C evaluation form within probationary timeframe
Demonstrate effective use of micrometers, calipers, tape measures and other measuring devices.
Acquire license to operate power lift trucks
Requires the ability to communicate effectively with others.
Work overtime as required to meet customer’s needs.

Nice To Haves

1-2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs all tasks in a safe manner.
Comply with all plant/company safety and food safety programs.
Answers pages for molding problems on the production floor.
Installs molds in injection molding machines.
Set-up molding machine and mold to meet quality and production standards.
Ensure all required documentation is complete
Maintain set-up cards and SPC sheets.
Repairs minor maintenance problems, such as: cleaning nozzle valves, replacing fuses and heaters, replacing broken roll pins, repairs grinders, adjusts parts handling, etc.
Runs samples for color, resin, size, etc. and fills out the proper forms for each.
Measures mold components, piece parts, etc. with the use of micrometers, calipers, tape measures and other measuring devices.
Troubleshoots molding problems.
Rotates into all normal Molder C job assignments as needed throughout production departments
Perform housekeeping duties on a regular basis.
Performs other duties as assigned.
