About The Position

This role requires the individual to set up and operate Roto machines. The operator must be capable of visually inspecting products for color and imperfections and making necessary adjustments. Additionally, the operator will perform preventive maintenance tasks, such as checking nuts, bolts, and clamps. The job involves working on an elevated demolding platform, requiring good balance and comfort with heights. The operator will use various hand tools, including pneumatic wrenches and small trimming tools, and must be safety-conscious, familiar with safety precautions for handling chemicals. Responsibilities include following written or verbal instructions from supervisors or group leaders, understanding labor reporting methods, and using a computer. The role also requires safe operation of hoists and cranes, as well as the roto load system and scales for weighing resin.

Requirements

Lift up to 50 pounds
Handle potential hot and humid conditions
Regular standing, walking, stair stepping, stooping, pushing, pulling, lifting
Pushing & Pulling up to 30 pounds
Familiarity with safety precautions for handling different chemicals
Ability to understand labor reporting methods and use a computer

Responsibilities

Set up and run Roto machines
Visually inspect for color and imperfections and make changes as required
Perform preventive maintenance tasks (e.g., nuts, bolts, clamps)
Work on an elevated demolding platform requiring good balance and a non-apprehension towards height
Use a variety of hand tools such as pneumatic wrenches and small trimming tools
Be safety conscious and familiar with safety precautions for handling different chemicals
Work from supervisor's or group leader’s written or verbal instructions
Understand all labor reporting methods and how to use the computer
Operate hoist and cranes safely
Operate roto load system and use scales to weighing resin
