About The Position

Altamira Material Solutions is the industry leader in PTFE molding, paste extrusion, plastics machining, and fabrication. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team. The molding process takes time and requires a patient methodical thinker who enjoys seeing projects through to completion. This position is located at our facility in NW Houston inside the Northwest Industrial Center.

Requirements

Accredited High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
One to three months' experience in a manufacturing facility highly desired.
Forklift experience, preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Self-starter with attention to detail, multitasking ability, and a professional demeanor.
Positive attitude, integrity, and commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

Load molds with proper materials and operate equipment with established procedures to produce preformed parts.
Use measuring devices and perform such operations to assure conformance of the end product to dimensional specifications.
Responsible for the proper utilization of tools and equipment necessary to produce molded products in accordance with engineering standards.
Maintain cleanliness relative to the equipment and to the molds after such operations have been performed.
Ensure that all tools are in good operating condition when molder places them in storage.
Operate a forklift truck, hoist, or crane.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area, and maintain accurate records and job history
