About The Position

This role is responsible for preparing and performing the molding of parts to meet all requirements, including delivery and/or subsequent production schedules. The position requires the ability to consistently follow specific process instructions and maintain ISO compliance in a fast-paced environment. The molder will follow the schedule, maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area, and contribute to work instructions. They must be willing and able to assist co-workers and maintain an atmosphere of cooperation. Accurate and complete documentation of activities in the company production software is essential, as is the detection and reporting of defects and questionable conditions to QA and supervisor. Consistent attention to detail while maintaining output is required, along with compliance and support of the ISO quality system in all activities. Specific tasks include preparing molds, inserts, and hardware for molding, molding all products per process sheets, work instructions, and/or prints, removing product and/or inserts from the mold, cleaning and preparing mold surfaces, verifying product meets visual specifications, recording data, locating appropriate components, weighing, and mixing materials per work instructions, and weighing all molds and/or finished parts to verify meeting weight specifications. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Minimum HS diploma or GED required.

Nice To Haves

Prior molding experience preferred.
Prior experience with mechanical assembly/disassembly preferred.

Clean and/or prepare all mold surfaces when done to prepare for next molding.
Verify product meets all appropriate visual specifications and/or criteria.
Record all data as required.
Locate appropriate components, weigh, and mix together per work instructions.
Weigh all molds and/or finished parts to verify meeting weight specifications.
