About The Position

The Mold Machine Maintenance role is responsible for performing routine maintenance, repair, and service of mold tooling for facility molding equipment. This role ensures the proper functioning of molding equipment through scheduled maintenance and prompt response to breakdowns. The position requires adherence to safety and quality procedures, understanding of blueprints, and effective communication with operators and supervision.

Requirements

• Demonstrated industrial maintenance experience.
• At least two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated self-compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS); Maintenance Connection experience preferred.
• Must have a basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Must have mechanical aptitude.
• Must be able to stand and/kneel frequently, lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, and work in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be available on an on-call basis.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Follows all documented safety, quality, and maintenance procedures.
• Responds promptly to safety hazards and machine breakdowns.
• Understands and interprets blueprints required for work.
• Performs changeovers to the molding equipment as scheduled.
• Performs routine service and mechanical repair on mold tooling.
• Maintain an inventory of spares to support production demand.
• Completes documentation related to the task at hand.
• Maintains excellent housekeeping standards to maintain a safe work area.
• Maintains effective communication with operators and plant supervision.
• Immediately addresses and reports safety issues or hazards.
• Maintains excellent safety record.
• Maintains excellent attendance record.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
