About The Position

This position is responsible for finishing molds and simple tooling for glass production with good quality and in a timely manner. The role also involves making changes to simple tooling and performing daily 5S work within the workshop. Requirements

Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, leadership and customers
Secondary school or above (those with production experience are preferred)
The employee is regularly required to stand for long periods
Duties include turning at the waist, reaching, bending, squatting and lifting up to 50 pounds
Ability to pass static strength requirements (grip)
Visual acuity including, but not limited to: NEAR ACUITY, FAR ACUITY, DEPTH PERCEPTION, COLOR VISION, FIELD OF VISION
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables
Knowledge of and familiarity manufacturing software
Be acquainted with the flow of glass production
Be acquainted with the rules and regulations of the Company
Be acquainted with relevant product standards
Be the master of professional skills of mold making for laminated glass
Understand the requirements of product drawings
Be the master of the standard of acceptance for the molds of laminated glass
Abilities of communication and coordination
Must be 18 years of age or older
