About The Position

Ford is seeking a Model-Based Systems Engineer to join its Digital Transformation team and help advance digital engineering and failure mode avoidance across the global Product Development organization. The role applies Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) expertise to the selection, implementation, customization, integration, and support of enterprise tools and processes, including CATIA Magic (MagicDraw/Cameo) and Teamwork Cloud (TWC). The engineer owns the lifecycle of MBSE tools and methods, develops custom tool enhancements and integrations, supports collaboration infrastructure, and helps engineering teams adopt MBSE. The position also advances the Digital Thread across product development by improving interoperability among MBSE tools, CAD design data, requirements, and CAE disciplines. The role supports digital implementation of Failure Mode Avoidance practices and researches emerging technologies such as Generative AI and SysML V2. This is a hybrid position. Candidates within commuting distance of a Ford hub location may be required to work onsite four or more days per week. The position is salary grade 7–8, with a stated range of $99,600–$192,900. Visa sponsorship is not available; candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
