About The Position
The Mobility Technician is a key member of the nursing team at Gaylord Specialty Healthcare, a health system dedicated exclusively to medical rehabilitation. They work alongside RNs, PCTs/CNAs, and therapy teams to help mobilize patients, transport them to and from therapies, and perform a variety of other nursing unit responsibilities. This position offers significant exposure to various healthcare opportunities and careers, along with direct patient contact.
Requirements
- H.S Diploma or G.E.D. required
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) CPR certification preferred prior to hire
Responsibilities
- Help mobilize patients
- Transport patients to and from therapies
- Perform a variety of other nursing unit responsibilities
