About The Position

Nscale is seeking an experienced Mobility Specialist to manage the day-to-day delivery of mobility support for their US employee population. This role involves managing relocations, assignments, and business travel support in a dynamic and evolving environment. It is a hands-on operational position with the potential to expand into supporting additional locations and regions as Nscale grows.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of mobility casework experience with a strong focus on the US, supporting employee populations and cross-border relocations.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of US relocation, assignment, and business travel compliance considerations.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-changing environments without a fully defined process.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to maintain sound judgment under pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong, close working relationships with immigration counterparts and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • An openness to taking on additional locations or regions within your scope as the business grows.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working alongside an in-house Immigration Specialist or team.
  • Exposure to mobility outside the US (e.g., UK, EMEA, APAC) or interest in growing into a broader regional remit.
  • Experience in the data center, infrastructure, or technical workforce sectors.
  • Experience managing mobility vendors or EOR providers.
  • Familiarity with global immigration frameworks and the intersection of mobility and immigration.
  • Strong experience with data reporting and program metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end mobility casework for the US population, including relocations, transfers, and assignments.
  • Oversee mobility allowance requests via the ticketing system and partner with mobility vendors on case initiation, tracking, and resolution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners, providing guidance to hiring managers and leaders.
  • Work closely with the US Immigration Specialist to ensure mobility and immigration casework align.
  • Proactively flag risks or bottlenecks and propose solutions.
  • Provide empathetic, clear, and timely guidance to employees navigating sensitive moves.
  • Apply and help refine mobility tracking systems, policies, and processes.
  • Contribute feedback to improve playbooks for future expansion and M&A activity.
  • Support KPI reporting, cost analysis, and employee feedback loops to measure and improve program effectiveness.
