About The Position

The Michigan Department of Transportation’s Office of Passenger Transportation is seeking a Mobility Innovations Project Manager to help advance innovative transit and mobility solutions across Michigan. This position works at the intersection of public transportation, technology, innovation, and project management. You’ll work with transit agencies and MDOT partners to help develop, fund, implement, monitor, and evaluate projects involving emerging technologies, alternative fuels, mobile applications, automation, fare technology, and innovative mobility solutions.

Requirements

  • Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
  • Departmental Analyst 9: No specific type or amount is required.
  • Departmental Analyst 10: One year of professional experience.
  • Departmental Analyst P11: Two years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service.
  • Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school and the equivalent of at least two years of full-time active-duty experience at or above the E-6 level in the uniformed services may be substituted for the education requirement.
