Requirements

  • Experience in selling, maintaining, or fitting in the mobility and accessibility industry.
  • Experience in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Long Term Care, or another healthcare area and looking to pivot into a sales role.
  • Recent graduate from a healthcare program looking for a place to start a career.
  • Problem-solving ability with the capacity to ask thoughtful questions to troubleshoot concerns and meet client needs.
  • Ability to generate and pursue new leads, build relationships, grow networks, and meet targets.
  • Expertise in innovating new ways to ensure client needs are met.
  • Creativity in generating new leads.
  • Experience with a Customer Relationship database (CRM).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to relate to people and build trust easily.
  • Thrive in a team environment, working with internal and external teams to drive business and satisfy clients.
  • Valid G-class driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Clean criminal background check and be bondable.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full cycle of a client relationship during the purchase process of life-changing equipment, including wheelchairs, walkers, mobility scooters, stairlifts, ceiling lifts, and bathroom and bedroom safety items.
  • Work closely with therapists to match mobility and assisted living products with the needs of their clients.
  • Provide solutions by working directly with therapists to select the custom mobility device that best suits client needs.
  • Ensure Motion is the top choice for mobility devices in Kamloops and surrounding areas by building relationships, staying updated on new products, and developing equipment knowledge.
  • Build and maintain relationships by expanding networks and creating new relationships with Therapists, Caregivers, Manufacturers, and other Healthcare facilities.
  • Travel to long-term care facilities, retirement homes, hospitals, schools, and residences of clients with needs in the community.
  • Demonstrate products and services to clients and their teams using the extensive inventory of mobility devices.
