We offer a wide range of products including wheelchairs, walkers, mobility scooters, power lift recliners, lifting devices, homecare and adjustable beds, and bathroom safety items, catering to clients of all ages to ensure their independence, mobility, and safety. This role is for an existing vacancy where a compassionate and knowledgeable Mobility and Accessibility Sales Consultant is needed. The consultant will manage the full client relationship cycle during the purchase of life-changing equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, mobility scooters, stairlifts, ceiling lifts, and bathroom and bedroom safety items. The ideal candidate is a relationship-builder and solutions-oriented consultant who will work closely with therapists to match mobility and assisted living products with client needs.

Requirements

  • Experience in selling, maintaining, or fitting in the mobility and accessibility industry, OR experience in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Long Term Care, or another healthcare area.
  • Sales drive with problem-solving abilities, capable of asking thoughtful questions to troubleshoot concerns and meet client needs.
  • Ability to generate and pursue new leads, build relationships, grow networks, and meet targets.
  • Expertise in innovating new ways to ensure client needs are met and creativity in generating new leads.
  • Experience with a Customer Relationship database (CRM).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to relate to people and build trust easily.
  • Thrive in a team environment, working with internal and external teams to drive business and satisfy clients.
  • Valid G-class driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Clean criminal background check and be bondable.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide solutions by working directly with therapists to select the custom mobility device that best suits client needs.
  • Ensure Motion is the top choice for mobility devices by building relationships, staying updated on new products, and developing equipment knowledge.
  • Build and maintain relationships by expanding networks and creating new relationships with Therapists, Caregivers, Manufacturers, and other Healthcare facilities.
  • Work closely with therapists to determine client needs and obtain the best-fit equipment.
  • Travel to long-term care facilities, retirement homes, hospitals, schools, and client residences to demonstrate products and services from extensive inventory.
