Full-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking a full-time mobile veterinarian serving Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Placitas, Corrales, Sandia Park, Santa Fe, Tijeras, New Mexico, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families. The role offers a mobile alternative to in-clinic practice, with flexible schedules of two to five days per week and an average of three to four unrushed appointments per day. Veterinarians receive comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center while practicing independently. Full-time opportunities include three-, four-, and five-day schedules; part-time opportunities are also available. Compensation varies by schedule: four-day positions start at $107,500, and five-day positions offer a $130,000 base salary, with additional bonus opportunities. Three-day compensation is prorated based on schedule.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
- Candidates are subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
Responsibilities
