About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time Mobile Veterinarian to serve Trenton, Princeton, Hamilton Township, Monroe Township, Manalapan Township, Jackson Township, New Jersey, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in meaningful end-of-life moments, practicing outside a traditional in-clinic setting. The role offers 3-, 4-, and 5-day schedule options, with flexible scheduling and an average of 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day. Veterinarians work independently in the field while remaining connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals. Lap of Love provides comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
Candidates are subject to post-hire background and motor vehicle record checks before their associated start date.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families.
Conduct mobile veterinary appointments in the assigned service area.
