Full-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time mobile veterinarian serving Greenville, South Carolina, including Simpsonville, Greer, Easley, Taylors, Spartanburg, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week, typically three to four appointments per day, with time to focus on families and patient care. The veterinarian works independently while supported by onboarding, personalized mentorship, experienced leaders, practice managers, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Three-day full-time and part-time opportunities are also available. Compensation depends on schedule: four-day positions start at $75,000, and five-day positions offer a $90,000 base salary, with additional bonus opportunities; three-day compensation is prorated.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), VMD, or BVMS.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
- Subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before the associated start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide mobile hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
- Travel to appointments in Greenville, SC, and surrounding service areas.
- Work some weekends.
- Participate in onboarding, mentorship, and ongoing professional development.
