Full-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time Mobile Veterinarian to serve Wilmington, Leland, Southport, Hampstead, Oak Island, Rocky Point, North Carolina, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in their homes. This veterinarian-founded and owned organization offers an alternative to in-clinic practice, with flexible schedules, an average of 3–4 appointments per day, and support from a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals. The role includes comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Three-, four-, and five-day full-time opportunities are available, and three-day part-time opportunities are also available. Compensation varies by schedule: four-day positions start at $75,000, while five-day positions offer a $90,000 base salary, with additional bonus opportunities. Three-day compensation is prorated based on schedule.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
