About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time mobile veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in Salem, Keizer, McMinnville, Dallas, Albany, Corvallis, Monmouth, Oregon, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian-founded and owned organization offers an alternative to in-clinic practice, emphasizing professional fulfillment, personal freedom, and a supportive culture. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week, with an average of three to four unhurried appointments per day. Veterinarians practice independently while remaining connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals. Support includes comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Compensation varies by schedule. Four-day positions start at $85,000, and five-day positions offer a $100,000 base salary, with additional bonus opportunities. Three-day full-time and part-time opportunities are also available with prorated compensation. The role includes a guaranteed base salary with no negative accrual, bonus opportunities, and a tenure bonus.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD), or Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery (BVMS) degree.
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Candidates are subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
