About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time mobile veterinarian serving SeaTac, Washington, including Tacoma, Auburn, Puyallup, Kent, Federal Way, Renton, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week and an average of three to four appointments per day. Veterinarians practice independently while receiving onboarding, mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. Three-day full-time and part-time opportunities are also available. Compensation is schedule-dependent: four-day positions start at $107,500, and five-day positions offer a $130,000 base salary, plus bonus opportunities. Three-day and part-time compensation is prorated based on schedule.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Candidates are subject to a background check and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families.
• Conduct mobile appointments in SeaTac and surrounding service areas.
• Work an agreed schedule of two to five days per week.
