Full-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time mobile veterinarian serving Green Bay, Appleton, De Pere, Manitowoc, Neenah, Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, and surrounding areas. Veterinarians provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers an alternative to in-clinic practice, with an emphasis on professional fulfillment, personal freedom, and a balanced schedule. Veterinarians work independently in the field while remaining connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals. Lap of Love provides comprehensive onboarding, ongoing training, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, dedicated practice managers, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. The schedule can range from two to five days per week, with an average of three to four appointments per day.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD), or Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery (BVMS) degree.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Must complete a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before the associated start date.
Responsibilities
