About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time mobile veterinarian serving SeaTac, Washington, and surrounding areas, including Tacoma, Auburn, Puyallup, Kent, Federal Way, and Renton. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible schedules, typically two to five days per week, with an average of three to four unhurried appointments per day. Veterinarians work independently while receiving onboarding, mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. Three-day full-time and part-time opportunities are also available. Compensation depends on schedule: four-day positions start at $107,500, and five-day positions have a $130,000 base salary, with additional bonus opportunities. Three-day and part-time compensation is prorated based on schedule.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Must pass a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before the associated start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in their homes.
• Conduct an average of three to four appointments per day.
• Work independently while engaging with mentors, experienced leaders, and support staff as needed.
