Full-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time Mobile Veterinarian serving San Mateo, California, including San Francisco, Redwood City, Woodside, El Granada, Daly City, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care to pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible schedules, with 2–5 days per week available, and an average of 3–4 appointments per day. Veterinarians work independently while receiving comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. Three-day, four-day, and five-day full-time opportunities are available, as well as part-time opportunities. Compensation depends on the schedule: four-day positions start at $117,500, and five-day positions offer a $140,000 base salary, with additional bonus opportunities. Three-day compensation is prorated based on schedule.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before the associated start date.
