Full-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time mobile veterinarian serving Reno, Nevada, including Sparks, Sun Valley, Carson City, Fernley, Spanish Springs, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible schedules, typically with three to five workdays per week, and an average of three to four unrushed appointments per day. Veterinarians receive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center while practicing independently.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates must complete a background check and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
