About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time mobile veterinarian to provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in Toledo, Ohio, including Perrysburg, Bowling Green, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian-founded and owned organization offers an alternative to in-clinic practice, with a focus on compassionate care, professional fulfillment, and personal well-being. Veterinarians typically have an average of 3–4 appointments per day, allowing time for families and reducing paperwork. The role includes comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. Schedules range from 2–5 days per week; 3-day full-time and part-time opportunities are also available. Compensation depends on schedule structure: 4-day positions start at $85,000, and 5-day positions offer a $100,000 base salary, with additional bonus opportunities. Three-day opportunities offer prorated compensation.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS).
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Candidates are subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
