Full-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time mobile veterinarian to serve Merrimack Valley, New Hampshire, including Manchester, Nashua, Derry, Salem, Londonderry, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers an alternative to in-clinic practice, with flexible schedules, an average of three to four appointments per day, and support from a community of veterinarians and support professionals. Lap of Love provides onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Full-time schedules are available for three, four, or five days per week; part-time opportunities are also available. Compensation varies by schedule: four-day positions start at $107,500, and five-day positions offer a $130,000 base salary, with additional bonus opportunities. Three-day compensation is prorated based on schedule.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before the associated start date.
Responsibilities
