Full-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time mobile veterinarian serving North Dallas, Texas, including Coppell, McKinney, Denton, Carrollton, Frisco, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families. The role offers 2–5 day-per-week schedule options, an average of 3–4 unhurried appointments per day, and the opportunity to practice independently while remaining supported by a community of veterinarians and support professionals. Support includes comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Three-day, four-day, and five-day full-time opportunities are available, as well as three-day part-time opportunities. Compensation varies by schedule: four-day positions start at $107,500, and five-day positions offer a $130,000 base salary, with additional bonus opportunities. Three-day compensation is prorated based on schedule.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
- Subject to a post-hire background and motor vehicle record check before the associated start date.
Responsibilities
