About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time mobile veterinarian serving Dayton, Ohio, including Xenia, Springfield, Springboro, Miamisburg, Fairborn, and surrounding areas. Veterinarians provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week, with an average of three to four unhurried appointments per day. Veterinarians work independently while receiving onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. Three-day full-time and part-time opportunities are also available in this market. Compensation varies by schedule. Four-day positions start at $85,000, and five-day positions offer a $100,000 base salary, with additional bonus opportunities. Three-day full-time and part-time compensation is prorated according to schedule.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before the associated start date.
