Full-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time mobile veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in Nashville, Franklin, Murfreesboro, Brentwood, Hendersonville, Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, and surrounding areas. The role offers an alternative to in-clinic practice, with independent field work supported by a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals, ongoing training, experienced mentors, dedicated practice managers, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Schedules are available for three, four, or five days per week. The average workload is three to four appointments per day, allowing time with families and less paperwork. Four-day positions start at $107,500, while five-day positions offer a $130,000 base salary, with additional bonus opportunities. Three-day full-time and part-time opportunities are also available, with prorated compensation based on schedule. Compensation varies with schedule structure.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates are subject to a background check and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
Responsibilities
