Full-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time mobile veterinarian serving Fort Worth, Arlington, Keller, North Richland Hills, Benbrook, Colleyville, Crowley, Azle, Texas, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes, offering unhurried appointments during meaningful and sensitive moments. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week, with an average of three to four appointments per day. Veterinarians work independently in the field while remaining connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals. Lap of Love provides comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Three-day, four-day, and five-day full-time opportunities are available; three-day full-time and part-time opportunities are also available in this market. Compensation varies by schedule.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates must undergo a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes.
- Conduct an average of three to four unhurried appointments per day.
