About The Position

Under general supervision, responsible for driving and overseeing the operations of a Mobile Unit to the various outreach sites for the delivery of patient care or healthcare events.

Requirements

• Compliant and knowledgeable of all safety guidelines and applicable traffic laws.
• Ability to develop and maintain defensive driving skills and operate mobile unit in a safe and efficient manner.
• Strong sense of direction and a thorough knowledge of surrounding area layout and routes.
• Ability to communicate in a courteous, pleasant and professional manner.
• Must maintain a good driving record consistent with institutional policy.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Texas Commercial Driver's License (TCDL) class B is required.

Responsibilities

• Drives Mobile Unit to designated site and ensures operational utility support such as commercial power, water and sanitation.
• Ensures cleanliness of Mobile Unit and maintenance of on board clinic equipment, and arranges for repair as needed.
• Ensures Mobil Unit is loaded with necessary supplies for each medical mission or sponsored event.
• Assists with tracking inventory and other Unit administrative responsibilities.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
