This position is responsible for preparing the mobile unit, including powering up equipment and ensuring doors and ramps are ready for patient use. The driver will prepare equipment for transport to and from sites, anticipating arrival and setup. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate mileage and fuel purchase records, and driver logs in accordance with DOT regulations. The role requires observing safety and security at all times, obeying traffic laws and speed limits, and maintaining a valid CDL and clear driving record. A valid medical examination must be maintained. The driver will also assist management with record keeping for the tractor trailer and notify service personnel when necessary. Additionally, the driver will assist clinical partner(s) with patient care and other duties as requested, including exam setup, linen replacement, coil selection and placement, supply preparation, and cleanup. Proficiency in using software systems for monitoring patient histories, reviewing screening forms, and managing documentation is also required.
