As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Unit Driver in Missouri City, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or delivery information as required, and help to control entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and vendors.
• Support security-related operations at a food and beverage location by observing site conditions, reporting hazards and/or maintenance concerns, and following post orders for assigned areas.
