About The Position

Make a difference every day by joining CCRES as a Mobile Therapist / MT in Chester County, PA! The Mobile Therapist / MT is an independent contract position and a member of an interdisciplinary clinical team. MT needs throughout Chester County, PA! MT will work after-school or evening hours. Flexible scheduling for work/life balance! As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, CCRES Educational and Behavioral Health Services is an organization of dedicated and highly-trained staff members who provide quality services to schools, children, adults, and families. We work in partnership with the Home & Community Services (H&CS) program of the CCIU to provide the highest quality behavioral health school district services to individuals with special needs.

Requirements

  • Graduate degree with at least 9 credits specific to clinical practice in psychology, social work or counseling from an accredited college/university AND a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in providing mental health direct services to children, youth or young adults
  • Graduate degree from an accredited university with at least 9 credits specific to clinical practice in clinical psychology, social work, education, counseling, or related field AND completed a clinical or mental health direct service practicum
  • Clearances current within 12 months
  • PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
  • PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
  • FBI Department of Human Service background clearance - Service code: 1KG738
  • TB screening (current within 3 months)
  • Official transcripts from graduate program
  • Professional liability insurance
  • Valid PA licensure (if applicable- LSW, LCSW, LMFT, LPC)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with children diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum Disorder and PA License (LSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and family psychotherapy in the home environment
  • Provide insight into family dynamics and provide assistance in the development of adaptive skills in order for the client to take a more positive role in the family
  • Provide clinical progress notes & development of psychotherapy plan
  • Work after-school/early evening hours, usually with 1 - 2 hours per week for each client's family, and ability to build a caseload of multiple clients
