TRUCKALINE - MOBILE SERVICE TECHNICIAN
About The Position
TRUCKALINE is seeking a Trailer Technician for their Mobile Service Trucks. This role involves the complete repair and general maintenance of semi-trailers and all other styles and sizes of trailers. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, be detail-oriented, willing to assist where needed, able to travel, possess a clean driving record, and have a strong work ethic. Requirements
- Knowledge of trucks and trailers, including systems and components
- Experience in welding, fabrication, and machining
- Demonstrates self-motivation, willingness to learn, and effective problem-solving skills
- Great work ethic
- Willingness to jump in and help out where needed
- Clean driving record
- Basic tool set and tool box to start
- Ability to lift 50-100 lbs. occasionally and 10-50 lbs. frequently
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Reliability and a dedication to be a hard worker
- Ability to work independently maintaining a safe, efficient and friendly work environment
- Honesty and respect
Nice To Haves
- Operating engine lathes experience
- CDL a plus
- Technical aptitude with basic electric diagnostic / troubleshooting experience a plus
- Welding experience a plus
- Assistance programs available for tools
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site spindle repair and replacement
- Some overnight travel required
- Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements
- Ensure the final work product meets quality standards
- Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and co-workers
