Mobile Service Technician

About The Position

This is FleetPride's technician who will be able to work on most heavy-duty truck and trailer repairs. This person will be primarily be repairing customer vehicles in dedicated lots, in a designated company vehicle, and will be able to take this vehicle home.

Requirements

5+ years of HD truck/trailer repair experience.
Good communication skills with the service manager, service writer and customers about jobs in progress.
Ability to provide your own tools and box.
Valid DL with good driving record.
Driven to work efficiently and safely to provide the best service.

Nice To Haves

CDL is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Repairing customer vehicles in dedicated lots.
Performing preventative maintenance.
Servicing air systems.
Conducting electrical diagnosis and repairs.
Working on starting systems.
Repairing brakes.
Servicing wheel ends.
Working on coolant systems.
Performing some AC diagnostics and repairs.
Addressing some steering and alignment issues.
Conducting drivetrain diagnostics and repairs.
Removing and replacing differentials.
Servicing after treatment systems.
Performing miscellaneous trailer repairs.
