About The Position

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Identify work needed and complete all aspects of the tire and trailer service. Ensure detailed information is captured and keyed into computer systems and relayed to the shop or service provider as needed Follow our tire program on each unit and identify needs. Follow all TIA rules and regulations for your safety and the safety of the driver. Resolve issues to take care of drivers and customers while providing excellent customer service. Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair fleet of dry van and flatbed semi-truck and trailer bodies, systems, and components Perform preventative maintenance including preventative, warrantable, and accident-related repairs Inspect suspension, wheel-end, braking, and structural components to match company and DOT specifications Test equipment for performance issues Demonstrate self-motivation, punctuality, and eagerness to learn Follow prescribed procedures and protocols at all times. Identify areas of opportunity and provide feedback to management. Identify best practices and share them across the team. Support an atmosphere of professionalism, always.

Requirements

  • Pass pre-employment drug screening.
  • Pass DOT physical.
  • High school Diploma or GED.
  • Valid Driver’s License / CDL Driver’s License is a plus.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Regular full attendance required for assigned shift.
  • Positive team member attitude.
  • Ability to understand and implement instructions, guidelines, and pertinent information necessary to complete daily tasks and assignments.
  • Must be able to move, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs. with regularity and up to 100 lbs. on occasion.

Nice To Haves

  • CDL Driver’s License is a plus.
