Ford Mobile Service Technician
About The Position
Kendall Auto Group is seeking a Mobile Service Technician for their Kendall Ford Bend location. This role involves driving a fully equipped mobile service vehicle to customer locations within the town to perform basic maintenance and Ford recalls. The technician will be responsible for inspecting, replenishing, draining, and filling fluids and lubricants, balancing and rotating tires, performing vehicle inspections, completing basic brake repairs, vehicle diagnostics, and software updates. All work and hours must be documented according to manufacturer and Kendall standards. The position requires providing professional, friendly, and knowledgeable customer service at every stop. The work environment is primarily outdoors, requiring the use of mechanic’s hand and power tools that produce significant vibration and force. Standing and walking will be required for the entire work shift, with frequent pushing, pulling, crouching, squatting, reaching, and kneeling to access all parts of vehicles. Lifting, pushing, and pulling weights and forces from 20 to 100 pounds will be required occasionally.
Requirements
- Ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles both automatic and manual transmissions.
- A valid driver license and good driving record are required.
- Previous vehicle maintenance experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Drive a fully equipped mobile service vehicle to in-town locations to perform job duties at customer locations.
- Perform basic maintenance on service vehicles and Ford recalls.
- Inspect, replenish, drain, and fill fluids and lubricants.
- Balance and rotate tires.
