About The Position

Lift Inc. is hiring numerous experienced repair and maintenance technicians to join our Carlisle, PA team as full-time Mobile Service Techs and fix any problems with our customers' lift equipment. You'll work from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with some weekends and evenings as needed. You'll travel around in a company service van, going to customers' sites and parts pickup locations, and performing exceptional repairs on lift equipment. Following all safety and operational procedures, you'll repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components to get the equipment in peak operating order.

Requirements

  • 18+ years of age
  • High school degree (or equivalent) or a technical degree in a trade like automotive
  • 3+ years of related mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic experience
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl throughout the shift with minimal opportunities to sit
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift/move 100+ pounds
  • Ability to work in wet, humid, cold, and hot conditions
  • Experience servicing automotive or industrial equipment
  • Welding, diesel, and gas engine experience
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening test

Responsibilities

  • Performing customer-approved repairs and planned maintenance on lift equipment
  • Maintaining your work vehicle and parts inventory
  • Servicing equipment according to the customer's concerns and your own observations
  • Testing equipment to check repairs
  • Preparing and submitting inventory reports and work service reports
  • Following the PM checklist, checking safety decals, and ensuring the availability of safety and operational manuals
  • Assisting with other functions as needed
