About The Position

Lift Inc. is hiring numerous experienced repair and maintenance technicians to join our Carlisle, PA team as full-time Mobile Service Techs and fix any problems with our customers' lift equipment. Requirements

  • 18+ years of age
  • High school degree (or equivalent) or a technical degree in a trade like automotive
  • 3+ years of related mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic experience
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl throughout the shift with minimal opportunities to sit
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift/move 100+ pounds
  • Ability to work in wet, humid, cold, and hot conditions
  • Experience servicing automotive or industrial equipment
  • Welding, diesel, and gas engine experience
  • Must have the ability to pass a background check and drug screening test.

Responsibilities

  • Performing customer-approved repairs and planned maintenance on lift equipment
  • Maintaining your work vehicle and parts inventory
  • Servicing equipment according to the customer's concerns and your own observations
  • Testing equipment to check repairs
  • Preparing and submitting inventory reports and work service reports
  • Following the PM checklist, checking safety decals, and ensuring the availability of safety and operational manuals
  • Assisting with other functions as needed
