About The Position

TEN (Transportation Equipment Network) is seeking Mobile Trailer Technicians who are trusted professionals to keep commercial fleets moving safely and efficiently. The company provides the necessary tools, training, equipment, and support for success, along with consistent hours, strong compensation, and opportunities for advancement. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in trailer repair, mobile mechanics, fleet maintenance, welding, brake systems, or DOT inspections. As a Mobile Trailer Technician, you will travel to customer locations to perform trailer inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs. This is a hands-on role for technicians who enjoy problem-solving, working independently, and delivering high-quality service in the field. You will work on a wide range of trailer systems and equipment while representing a leading transportation maintenance network.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Trailer Technician, Trailer Mechanic, Mobile Mechanic, or Fleet Maintenance Technician
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with welding, brake systems, suspension, and electrical repair
  • Ability to work independently in a mobile service environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment

Nice To Haves

  • CDL and DOT experience considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Respond to mobile service calls and complete on-site trailer repairs
  • Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot trailer issues
  • Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections
  • Repair and replace trailer components including: Brake systems, Suspension systems, Electrical wiring and lighting, Floors, doors, frames, and structural components
  • Troubleshooting and repairing liftgate issues
  • Perform welding and fabrication work as required
  • Complete work orders and maintenance documentation
  • Manage inventory and parts on service vehicle
  • Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
