About The Position
TEN (Transportation Equipment Network) is seeking a Mobile Trailer Technician to join their team. This role involves traveling to customer locations to perform trailer inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs. It is a hands-on position for technicians who enjoy problem-solving, working independently, and delivering high-quality service in the field. The technician will work on a wide range of trailer systems and equipment while representing a leading transportation maintenance network.
Requirements
- Experience as a Trailer Technician, Trailer Mechanic, Mobile Mechanic, or Fleet Maintenance Technician
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with welding, brake systems, suspension, and electrical repair
- Ability to work independently in a mobile service environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment

Responsibilities
- Respond to mobile service calls and complete on-site trailer repairs
- Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot trailer issues
- Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections
- Repair and replace trailer components including: Brake systems, Suspension systems, Electrical wiring and lighting, Floors, doors, frames, and structural components, Troubleshooting and repairing liftgate issues
- Perform welding and fabrication work as required
- Complete work orders and maintenance documentation
- Manage inventory and parts on service vehicle
- Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
