Mobile Product Manager

About The Position

We are seeking a seasoned Mobile Product Manager to own the end-to-end development and scaling of our new native mobile experience (iOS and Android) for the Numo app, aiming to reach millions of users. This senior role involves defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, translating the existing web product into a best-in-class mobile experience, and driving the product process in close collaboration with engineering and design leadership. You will be responsible for the entire user funnel, from onboarding to activation and retention, engineering growth through ASO, referral loops, and viral mechanics. A key part of this role is setting up and utilizing an analytics stack (Amplitude, Mixpanel, AppsFlyer, or similar) for data-driven decision-making and working closely with the design team to create a consumer app with exceptional user experience. The primary challenge is scaling the app from its current state to ten million users.

Requirements

  • Experienced mobile PM with a strong backbone and a track record of scaling a consumer mobile app from early traction to millions of users
  • Experience understanding what breaks at different user scales (100k, 1M, 10M) and being the PM in those situations
  • Strong growth instincts and understanding of performance marketing channels (Meta, TikTok, Google) and their impact on CAC and payback
  • Understanding of Day 1, Day 7, and Day 30 retention metrics and what constitutes good performance
  • Real product authority: comfortable holding the line on product decisions in a fast-moving engineering culture
  • Ability to push back, drive alignment, and run the product process without being overridden
  • Strong design sense, familiarity with Figma and AI-assisted design tooling
  • Familiarity with HIG and Material Design at a level to collaborate effectively with designers or lead design
  • Comfortable with data and building own dashboards; not reliant on a data team for basic questions

Nice To Haves

  • Consumer mobile apps with proven viral growth (recent breakouts in AI, social, fitness, gaming)
  • Mobile gaming, sports betting, or any product built on engagement mechanics and habit loops
  • Experience in AI labs or data-collection companies (Scale, Mercor, Surge and similar), particularly those who have built systems for large-scale data contribution

Responsibilities

  • Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the mobile apps
  • Translate an early web product into a best-in-class mobile experience
  • Drive product process end-to-end, partnering closely with engineering and design leadership
  • Own the full user funnel: onboarding, activation, retention. Find the drop-offs, run the tests, fix the leaks
  • Engineer growth into the product from day one through ASO, referral loops, deep linking, and viral mechanics
  • Set up and run the analytics stack (Amplitude, Mixpanel, AppsFlyer, or similar) and use it to make decisions
  • Work directly with the design team on a product that has to feel as good as the best consumer apps people use every day
